Design Concrete Builders is a family owned and operated business begun by Eugene Friesen and Joe Friesen. We began as a father/son team, soon adding wife [mom], Phyllis, as Marketing Director. In 2018 another son, Tim, joined as sales rep and client relations. We have served the greater Shenandoah Valley from Harrisonburg, Virginia, for more than 15 years. We continue to serve a wide area that includes Harrisonbug, Luray, Winchester, Mount Jackson, Broadway, Timberville, Elkton, Shenandoah, Bridgewater, Dayton, Weyers Cave, Verona, Mt. Crawford, Staunton, Stuarts Draft, Swoope, Fishersville, Waynesboro, Crozet, Charlottesville and Lexington.

With more than 75 years of collective experience in concrete construction, building, project management and client relations, Design Concrete Builders focuses on concrete solutions and hardscapes to improve your outdoor and indoor living spaces. Our turnkey building projects utilize insulated concrete forms (ICF) through the entire height of the exterior structure. Incorporating green building methods to maximize long-term energy efficiency and durability, such as HVAC and windows, can contribute to maintaining a lower cost of living.
